The No Snitch Project

Newport News, Va., had an increase in homicides and according to the police, a culture of no snitching was keeping them from solving the murders. As the Knight Digital Media Fellow in the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism at The Ohio State University, I produced a series of stories on the reasons for the lack of cooperation. The project was a finalist for the Online Video Journalism Award from the Online News Association.
